Will your tutorials & videos work on my computer? |

Written tutorials Yes. All tutorials are produced in pdf format, which is a universal cross-platform system that will work on any computer, as long as Adobe Reader is installed. If your computer has an old version you may need to update your version of Adobe Reader. You can download the latest version (free) from here |
Videos Yes, assuming that your computer is fairly modern and has a DVD drive. We use the DVD+R system, which is the standard for both computers and DVD players. The image format is PAL, which is used throughout most of the world and which gives far better image quality than NTSC, the system used in the USA and in a few other countries. And even if you're in a 'NTSC country' our videos will still work on your computer. They also work on DVD players connected to a TV - Many DVD producers encode their products to stop them being used on different systems, or to limit the number of times the machine can be swopped between different systems. Don't worry, we don't do this. Also, we don't region-code our videos, so you can be sure that our video will work on your machine. |
